Rose was introduced to yoga in 2006 while in college. She was initially drawn to the challenge of postures but soon found yoga was a way to connect with her body, mind and heart, while also releasing stress and anxiety. In wanting to share the magic of yoga, Rose completed a 200-hr yoga teacher training in 2008 and began teaching outdoor donation-based classes in 2009. Soon thereafter, Rose completed a 95-hr children's yoga teacher training and began teaching after-school classes at elementary schools in San Diego. She believes that with gentle and mindful guidance, yoga is a practice that can provide health benefits for all- young and old- and can create a healthy, happy life on and off the mat.
