Emily moved to San Diego in 2007 for her Bachelor’s in Sociology. She began practicing yoga in 2008 to relieve stress, and and soon found that the practice resulted in a strong mind/body & spirit awareness. Emily completed her 200 hour teacher training certification with Katie Brauer, Danny Arguetty and Lora Heiner in 2013. She is passionate about sharing her love of yoga and dedicated to inspiring and empowering others. Her specialties include restorative, yin, deep stretch, and flow. Her classes are accessible for all practitioners to grow. She brings her nurturing and calming energy into her classes and emphasizes breath, alignment, and being in the present moment. She encourages her practitioners to play and explore to discover what resonates with them. Off the mat, Emily enjoys being active, living in the present, and paving a path of growth and awareness.
